LOAN FEATURES

These loan products have the following features:-

• Monthly interest rate of 3% calculated on reducing balance basis
• The loan period ranges from  1-18 months
• Maximum loan size is at Ugx. 30,000,000= for individuals and Ugx. 60,000,000= for institutions and groups
• Payment terms are agreed upon on disbursement

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ACQUIRING A LOAN

• Buy an application form at Ugx. 10,000=
• The members saving account must be active with a minimum balance of at least Ugx. 50,000=
• Loan size: A member  can access a loan equivalent to one’s shares at a ratio of 1:5
• Collateral security:- The security must be in form of land, plots, land tittles, Motor vehicle card and motor cycle card as additional security
• An agreement endorsed by LC 1 Chairperson
• Two (2) capable guarantors
